The official destination website for Chesham and villages

The official Visit Chesham and Villages website visitchesham.org.uk was launched in April 2023, and is the brainchild of Chesham Society and Chesham Connect.

The idea came to fruition through the funding and support of Chesham and Villages Community Board. This brings together three organisations working for the good of the community and its future with a not-for-profit project aiming to profit Chesham and the surrounding area as a whole. These organisations being Chesham Society, Chesham Connect, Chesham and Villages Community Board.

The project covers the seven parishes of the Chesham and Villages Community Board. These are Chesham, Ashley Green, Chartridge, Chenies, Cholesbury-cum-St Leonards (Hawridge & Cholesbury), Latimer & Ley Hill and The Lee.

The aim is to showcase this wonderful town and surrounding area, attract visitors and encourage local tourism and pride in the area as a destination. Chesham is in a pretty special position having a London Underground station, a friendly community, and beautiful villages and countryside around.

Ongoing costs for its first years of operation were funded by The Mary Portas Fund and The Chesham Society. No charges are made for inclusion. Content is at our discretion. This official website for Visit Chesham / Visit Chesham and Villages is non-political and not affiliated with, or run by, any individual political entity. No businesses or venues are asked to pay any monies for inclusion or marketing by this project.

The idea of Destination Chesham came from Chesham Connect, one of our official supporters.

Visit Chesham and villages is an officially-backed and independent, non-commercial project maintained with limited funding.
