Views, golf and local produce
Chartridge stretches along a heady ridge of the Chiltern Hills immediately above Chesham. From the ridge, fields and woodlands slope down to Asheridge Vale and the secluded Pednor Valley – a favourite spot with walkers.
A cluster of cottages and the Village Hall mark the old centre of the village. From here, Chartridge Lane leads on through woodlands to Lee Common and The Lee.
Golf
The 18-hole course at Chartridge Park Golf Club is beautifully sited overlooking Pednor Valley. All visitors are welcome, to play golf or drop in for a meal or drink in the spacious clubhouse or on its open-air terrace. The indoor golf studio is open to all visitors to pre-book or enjoy an impromptu session when not in use.

Walks
The Chartridge Hills and Vales walk
The 13km (8-mile) walk explores the Pednor Valley and Asheridge Vale, with shorter options along the way. Starting in Chesham’s Lowndes Park, the beautiful Pednor section drinks in views over Pednor Bottom and passes through the hamlet of Pednor itself. From the Chartridge Mission Church, the path descends to Asheridge Vale and the Blue Ball pub on the other side of the ridge.
