Lenten organ recitals every Friday in Lent at United Reform Church, Chesham

This series of organ recitals is one of many events to celebrate 300 years of worship on the site.

Fridays 16th February, 23rd February, 1st March, 8th March, 15th March, 22nd March in this beautiful church with a Grade 1 organ. All welcome.

The organ recital series is every Friday lunchtime during Lent. Each recital starts at 12.30pm for a duration of approximately 25 minutes.

The organ has been awarded a certificate Grade 1 in recognition of it being an outstanding example of a pneumatic pipe instrument made by Forster & Andrews in 1886.

All are welcome and admission to the recitals is free but donations gratefully received. This is followed by an optional light lunch in our hall behind the Sanctuary with a suggested donation of £4.
Donations will be split between Chesham URC and Nordoff Robbins Music Therapy Centre.

The recitals are organised by Buckinghamshire Organists’ Association and Chesham URC.
