On Sunday 12th April 2026, the High Street will come alive for ‘Eid for Everyone’, a joyful family day celebrating Eid. Free activities will include a bouncy castle, craft sessions, face painting, henna, and live entertainment, alongside food and juice stalls, and plenty of fun for all ages. A free event open to the public. 12pm–6pm.
Open to everyone in Chesham and beyond, regardless of background or belief, with the aim of fostering inclusivity, celebrating diversity, and strengthening community bonds. To help ensure that all activities remain free of charge, Big Juicy Burger and Chiltern Executive Cars are the Presenting Partners.
The Mayor, Councillor Justine Fulford, Chesham Town Council, said:
“We are proud to host these special events that reflect Chesham’s diversity and community spirit. Whether you are joining us for the Community Iftar or celebrating Eid together in April, we look forward to welcoming everyone into an atmosphere of unity and joy.”
Ibrahim Ameen, Chairman of Chesham Mosque, said:
“Ramadan and Eid are moments of reflection, gratitude and community. We’re delighted to join Chesham Town Council in opening these celebrations to the whole town — welcoming neighbours of all faiths and none to share food, friendship and joy on our High Street. Together, we can strengthen the bonds that make Chesham such a special place.”
This is one of Chesham Town Councils’ Chesham Celebrates’ events.
