DESCRIPTION:Echor’s passion is to inspire our local communities by creating breathtaking musical experiences across the Chilterns.\nOn Saturday 4 April they return to St John the Baptist Church in The Lee for ‘Tenebrae’. \nFrom Echor  Music’s website: \n‘Tenebræ\, meaning “darkness”\, is a centuries old Easter tradition in which candles are gradually extinguished\, marking the quiet space before light returns; the suspended\, uncertain moment of Easter Saturday. \nIn the original ritual\, a single candle is left burning\, a fragile symbol of life and hope when everything else appears lost. While it belongs to the Christian tratidion of Easter\, the feeling it captures reaches far beyond it. Even in the deepest darkness\, a small light endures. \nIn this performance\, Echor draws inspiration from this powerful rite in an intimate candlelit performance for string quartet at St John the Baptist Church\, The Lee. DESCRIPTION:Chesham Local Produce Market will be on the third Saturday in December\, in time for those Christmas locally-produced goodies. \nOn sale are high quality food\, drink and crafts from approximately a 25 mile radius of Chesham. It’s held in the Market Square and the lower end of the High Street between 10am and 2pm. A fantastic opportunity to try local produce on your doorstep\, at your convenience\, and meet the people who make it! \n\nDecember  20\n\nThe local produce market is run by Chesham Town Council in partnership with Sustainable Chesham.
