DESCRIPTION:The Pednor 10 Run and 2 x 5mile relay returns on 28th December 28th 2025 at 10am. \nThis is a very popular fixture and every year it attracts hundreds of entries from the local region and far beyond. \nAs with previous years the event is held at Chesham 1879 Tennis Club\, HP5 2JU.\nThere’s a 10 mile 2 lap race on undulating roads including a challenging hill and a 2 x 5 mile relay which has proved very popular. \nThe event this year will again be organised by Chiltern Harriers AC with Arctic One benefiting with 50% of the profits. \nThe event is usually a sell out so please enter as early as possible \n

DESCRIPTION:River Chess Association are holding their Christmas Walk on Sunday 28th December meeting at Restore Hope Latimer at 10am.\n\n\nMap Location: See Map\n\n\nNat Grid: SU997985 / SU9973298545\nNearest Post Code: HP5 1TU\nwhat3words: cling.bake.award\n\n\nThe walk will start in the Restore Hope Estate follow the Little Chess and then join the Chess Valley Walk and then onto Chesham.\nThe plan is to take the train back from Chesham to Chalfont and Latimer Station and then a short walk back to the Restore Hope Car Park.\n\n\nA donation of £5 to Restore Hope for the use of their car park and access to their wonderful Estate.\n\n\nThe walk should take about 3 hours including the train journey. It is easy terrain. No booking required.\n\nJoin the River Chess Association for monthly guided walks along the River Chess in Chesham. Spot some local wildlife\, learn about chalk stream restoration and meet new people. \nWalks are usually on the last Sunday of the month\, taking in different sections and aspects of the River Chess. \nStart time: 10am. \nFollow the River Chess Association Facebook page \n  \n
